FISHING-CYCLING AND WALKING TOUR HOIAN

Itinerary in Detail

Your tour will start at 8:00 AM, we meet at your hotel for a very short transfer to the boat docks, we boat to a fishing village where you see & experience the life of a fisherman here, activities from preparing the fishing tools to go fishing. Followed by a short basket boat row along the village of water coconut before our lunch. We then cycle along the country road through the paddy fields of rice, coconut or corn heading to the main town of Hoi An. Our afternoon is continued with sightseeing to the famous cultural sites around Hoi An, we end our trip at around 5:00 PM at your hotel.

COSTS: $US67/person, cost for group from 4 people

Costs are $ US NET, 3% surcharge if pay by credit card. Other surcharges might be applied such as Tet holidays.

NOTES FOR YOUR TRIP:

Tour guide: English speaking guide.

Car/van quality: Using new AC car or van depending on your group size.

Meals: Vietnamese food

Communication: Expect warm, friendly welcomes and hellos from the local people when you ride through the small communities and visit the local homes. If you want to bring small gifts, things like note books, books, pens, pencils, toys, balloons, for example, are recommended

What to bring: Passport, change of clothes, sunglasses & hat, toiletries, sun-block, insect repellent, flashlights, proper hiking boots/shoes, personal first aid kit & medicine, small VND notes for buying drinks. If you feel the need, you can bring along a luggage lock for your belongings.

Health: Please be aware that due to legal reasons our local tour guides are prohibited from administering any type of drug or medication for the clients, including headache pills and antibiotics. Please ensure that you are adequately prepared.

Insurance: In order to travel safe, a good insurance is essential. Thus, please ensure that you have booked an appropriate insurance prior departure.

CYCLING INFORMATION

Age: The age restriction for cycling is 10 years. Younger children can join the trip, but will be carried in an attachment of the bike suitable for children.

Bike: We use the local bike

Cycling time: The cycling time is just approximate and depends on our speed and the weather.

Route: The cycling route can be changed due to external circumstances such as weather (the rain season between June and October can cause muddy paths which can become dangerous). Nevertheless, this should not discourage you as we will find proper alternatives
